import java.math.*;
import java.util.regex.*;

public class Solution {

    public static void main(String[] args) {
        try (Scanner scanner = new Scanner(System.in)) {
			int month = scanner.nextInt();
			int day = scanner.nextInt();
			int year = scanner.nextInt();

			Calendar calendar = Calendar.getInstance();
			calendar.set(Calendar.DATE, day);
			calendar.set(Calendar.MONTH, month - 1);
			calendar.set(Calendar.YEAR, year);

			System.out.println(calendar.getDisplayName(Calendar.DAY_OF_WEEK,
					Calendar.LONG, new Locale("en", "US")).toUpperCase());
		}
    }
}

Third solution

import java.util.Calendar;
import java.util.List;
import java.util.Scanner;

public class JavaDateAndTime {
    static List<String> days = Arrays.asList("SUNDAY", "MONDAY", "TUESDAY", "WEDNESDAY", "THURSDAY", "FRIDAY", "SATURDAY");

    public static String getDay(String day, String month, String year) {

        int y = Integer.parseInt(year);
        int m = Integer.parseInt(month);
        int d = Integer.parseInt(day);

        Calendar c = Calendar.getInstance();
        c.set(y, m-1, d);

        int p = c.get(Calendar.DAY_OF_WEEK);
        String s = days.get(p-1);
        return s;
    }

    public static void main(String[] args) {
        Scanner in = new Scanner(System.in);
        String month = in.next();
        String day = in.next();
        String year = in.next();
